Drama-Based Approach in English Language Teaching

The present study investigates the benefits of implementing drama techniques in English language teaching. It also focuses on means and strategies creating a learner-centered classroom to enhance as Foreign Language learners’ communication skills. Two dramatic used research are exploiting scripted play improvisation. Teacher-researcher conducted qualitative method through case First-Year Master Students Literature Civilization studying foreign Dr. Moulat Tahar University Saida, Algeria. reveals positive impact teaching student’s physical, emotional, social, cognitive development. sheds light putting learners authentic situations help them discover their hidden creativity overcome fears. In addition promoting sense collaboration, including discussion, negotiation, performance.
